It’s a very strange feeling to know that other people are reading the thoughts that run through my head…which is what happens when I write. Apologies in advance.
And when I put those thoughts together in a book, publish it, ask people to spend their hard-earned money to buy it. Ouf. Weird, scary, exciting. Am I Literate? Redefining Literacy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence is now available around the world.
You can buy Am I Literate? Redefining Literacy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence from most online platforms and order it from your local bookstore.
It’s also available on physical shelves in two places in Montreal:
Paragraph Bookstore – downtown Montreal on McGill Avenue
Clio Bookstore – Pointe Claire, in Pointe Claire Plaza

Or, even better, ask your local library to order it. They will buy it, you can read it, and then it’s available to others in your community.
What I am enjoying now – although it’s taking a little bit of time to shift gears – is the post-book stuff. Not the “buy my book” (although it helps!) but the “this is what I think and I want to share with you” stuff.
If you can join me on Thursday April 17th at McGill University for “Our Tech, AI and Society Dialogues” we’ll be discussing storytelling, AI, literacy (and yes, you can buy a book!)

Here are a few videos (for a different approach to data):
Why Storytelling? Because we’re human
What is Literacy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
I really like to catch up in person so I hope to see you / meet you at an event soon.
Onward and upward together, Kate
